We advertise extensively through billboards, television, Internet, etc. in order to purchase homes to renovate and resell them. We are a reputable company and belong to a franchise that’s purchased over 25,000 homes, with over 250 offices nationwide.

Position Overview

The Acquisition Specialist / Real Estate Buyer will be trained how to identify and profitably buy real estate property. Success will be attained by focusing on sellers’ needs, active listening and being a highly self-motivated individual relentlessly focused on results. This is a unique position within the Real Estate Industry that requires a certain type of personality and a team player. We are not searching for active real estate agents, but perhaps a non-active agent searching for something different. We will train the right individual in all aspects of the position.

Primary Responsibilities

Work directly with sellers of real estate
Listen to sellers’ needs and concerns
Analyze market conditions and comparable sales information to determine value
Evaluate real property to determine fair market value and repair costs
Negotiate contracts for the purpose of purchasing properties for the company
Follow-up with all sellers
Respond to leads generated from the current marketing system
Generate additional leads to increase buying and your compensation

Requirements

Must know how to set goals and deliver upon them
Must have excellent listening and communication skills, be outgoing, personable and willing to negotiate
Must be a committed, responsible and accountable person
Fluent in Microsoft Office and comfortable working in a mobile PC environment
Experience researching factual and/or public information via the Internet
Knowledge of real estate a plus, but not required
Dress is business casual with company logo’d attire
Personal and reliable transportation
Understanding of, and ability to work within, a highly commissioned pay structure
